These rules apply everywhere! Please come here if you need help or information on any of the first-ranks.
1. Alpha (Administrator)
There will always be either one or two Alphas, depending on whether they have yet secured a mate. To become an Alpha your character must become mates with the current Alpha. Usually the only ones that are strong enough to lead a pack are males, but there are exceptions. They are there to approve mate choices, hold meetings and generally lead the wolf pack. They are also the administrators of the site.
2. Beta (Moderator)
The Alpha(s) will choose Betas. The system runs much like the Alphas; there will be a female or male or both depending on whether the Beta has yet secured a mate. The female helps in second-command alongside the male - they work together. They are always in the Alpha(s)' control.
3. Elder (Under Moderator)
A pack member becomes an elder when they have either remained in the pack for 6 years+ or are over 8 years old. They act as a kind of council for the pack - they are loyal to the Alphas and Betas and supervise the pack. You could say they are like Senior Guardians, although they are more protected than protective; the old must rest! Whenever a wolf reaches the requirements than they can have no other rank; they automatically become an elder. This even counts for Alphas - a new Alpha will be chosen, most likely their children.
4. Alpha's Heir (Under Moderator)
The Alpha's Heir is always the first born male cub of the Alphas, although their are exceptions. (For example - if the first born is not suitable for the rank or there are no males. They are Alpha's Heir until the Alphas are either deceased, have reached elderhood or they are ready.
